Excel Wizards (Carlisle, MA facility) Assurance Technology Corporation (ATC) has several full time employment openings for individuals that pay attention to detail and are proficient in Microsoft (MS) Excel. The successful candidates will apply Excel in support of ATC systems used to manage their space and communications development efforts. Professional work experience is a plus, but not required. Earned Value Management Specialist (Carlisle, MA facility) Responsible for implementing the Assurance Technology Corporation (ATC) earned value management system (EVMS) on assigned ATC development programs. Functions include working with the Program Manager to develop the program measurement baseline and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), prepare for and participate in the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR), accomplish the earned value analyses, prepare monthly EVM cost reports and variance analysis reports, and support the presentation of the EVMS status and results to ATC management and customers. Strong organizational skills, experience in financial data management, experience with hardware or software development programs and program work breakdown structure (WBS) elements required. Candidate must possess strong Microsoft Excel skills, and have experience with Microsoft Project 2007. BS or equivalent and/or minimum of 5 years of directly related experience required. Space Particle Instrumentation Technical Deputy Program Manager (Carlisle, MA facility) Responsible for the technical development of high reliability space particle instrumentation for measurement and monitoring of space weather. Responsible for all aspects of instrumentation development including integration, test, calibration, on-orbit operations, and manufacturing. Good briefing and writing skills required for customer interfaces. BS Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or Electrical Engineering required. Advanced degree desired. Background experience in hands-on instrumentation integration, test and analysis required. Space instrumentation experience desired. Candidates must be US citizens eligible for a Top Secret Security Clearance. Digital Design Engineer (Carlisle, MA facility) Responsible for digital systems definition, board level designs and/or implementation of high speed digital signal processing circuits in FPGAs. Experience with MODELSIM, VHDL synthesis and hardware integration desired. Experience with developing high speed (>250 MHz), FPGAs, DSP processing (e.g. signal processing and filters) and Single Event Effort (SEE)mitigation desired. BSEE required; MSEE desired. Candidates must be US citizens eligible for a security clearance. Embedded Real Time Software Engineers (Carlisle, MA facility) Experienced and new graduates with project experience welcomed. Responsible for defining software requirements, architecture design, algorithms, software component designs and implementation of embedded microprocessor real time systems for space and tactical sensors and communication systems. Positions require experience with C or C++ language programming and definition, development, and test of embedded software systems. Knowledge of Linux or Integrity Operating System, communications and signal processing algorithm development, Matlab simulation and modeling are a plus. BSEE or CS required; MS desired. Candidates must be US citizens eligible for a security clearance. Algorithmic Engineers (Carlisle, MA facility) Experienced engineers with communications theory and MATLAB experience welcomed. Responsible for defining algorithms, system architecture and simulating end to end system for Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and software signal processing architectures for RF and Optical systems. Candidate ideally would be able to implement software or FPGA component designs. MSEE required; PHD desired. Candidates must be US citizens eligible for a security clearance. Web Application Software Engineers (Carlisle, MA facility) Experienced and new graduates with project experience welcomed. Responsible for defining software requirements, architecture design, algorithms, software component designs and implementation of web applications for man machine interfaces for space and tactical sensors, test equipment and communication systems. Positions require experience with Java, C or C++ language programming and definition, development, and test of software systems. BSEE or CS required. Candidates must be US citizens eligible for a security clearance. Project/Senior Systems Engineers (Carlisle, MA facility) Provide technical leadership and systems engineering on satellite and/or tactical communications programs. Responsible for system requirements development, system architecture development and generation of specifications, ICDs, test plans and procedures for subsystem elements. Lead technical team with hands-on participation. Hands-on hardware and software experience with MSEE or equivalent with 12 years analog/digital/software system development experience desired. Candidates must be US citizens eligible for a security clearance. Parts, Materials and Processes (PMP) Engineer (Chelmsford, MA facility) Provide PMP engineering support to parts and materials selection by the electrical and packaging design engineers, verifying parts and materials acceptability and/or shortcomings relative to the application in the areas of performance, package design, quality, environment, radiation, materials, processes and producibility. Interpret specifications and develop part electrical and screening test requirements, test flows and qualification procedures. Monitor test accomplishment and generate test reports. Generate SCDs, PMP program implementation plans and parts and materials lists, and provide the customer PMP interface. Knowledge of EEE parts, materials and processes used in high reliability space applications and the associated NASA/Military space industry specifications necessary, but will train the right person. Proficiency with MS Office tools required. Candidate must be a US citizen eligible for a security clearance. Program Managers (Carlisle, MA facility) Provide the program management, organizational and leadership skills in developing space, ground and airborne electronic systems. Responsible for proposal preparation, task definition and accomplishment, cost and performance management and customer interface. Strong organizational and leadership skills are required as well as a working knowledge of the product development process, production technology and quality assurance standards. BSEE or equivalent and/or 10 years of experience. Candidates must be US citizens eligible for a security clearance. Reliability Assurance Engineers (Carlisle, MA facility) Reliability Assurance Engineers are needed to perform and document worst case circuit analyses using circuit simulation software, electrical stress analyses, failure rate/reliability predictions and failure mode effects and criticality analysis (FMECA) on space electronics designs. Additional responsibilities will include interfacing with program managers, design engineers and customer representatives. Good interpersonal skills are required. BSEE, BSET or equivalent is preferred with experience in electronic circuit design and analysis. ASEE, ASET and military electronics personnel will be considered if the candidate can demonstrate adequate proficiency in electronic circuit theory and the supporting mathematics. Assurance Technology Corporation will provide training as required in circuit simulation techniques, failure rate/reliability predictions and FMECA.
