Quality Control Engineers (Chelmsford, MA facility)
Individual needed that pays attention to detail and has at least 5 years' experience in inspection and quality control of electronic and mechanical parts and printed circuit board assemblies. The individual would work in the quality assurance department, verifying and controlling the quality of the ATC space and military electronics as they are assembled, integrated and tested. The individual must be a U.S. Citizen.
Quality Assurance Engineers (Chelmsford, MA facility)
Candidates must have current ISO, Military and/or Aerospace quality program experience and the capability to communicate, both written and verbally. BS degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in QA engineering including development, production and test of electronic systems. This is a hands-on position requiring the ability to prioritize multiple tasks of various levels of difficulty. There is some travel required for this position.
Required: U.S. Citizenship for government security clearance; Expertise in the inspection of CCA's to IPC-610, J-STD-001, and/or NASA 8739; BS degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in QA engineering; Proficient in the ability to communicate both written and verbally; Experienced in problem solving, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions; Experienced in the review of test and assembly documentation; Attention to detail, and team-oriented; ISO 9001/AS9100 knowledge; Expertise in the inspection of mechanical parts; Expertise in the identification of EEE parts.
Preferred: Knowledge of Military Specifications for EEE components; Knowledge of NASA Standards and requirements; ASQ certifications; Experience witnessing or monitoring environmental testing; Current or previously held security clearance; ISO9001 and/or AS9100 audit experience; Supplier maintenance experience.
Cloud Developer Engineer (Washington, D.C. Location)
Candidate must be skilled in using Cloud technology (Hadoop, Map Reduce, Accumulo, etc)to develop large data applications within a Data Cloud environment. The cloud environment will include but is not limited to the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), Virtual Clusters (VMware ESX/ESXi and/or Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization). The individual will be expected to design and develop data ingest processes, cloud data manipulation applications, and large data analytics and interact with several databases to include Oracle's Real Application Custers (RAC) and Exadata. Expectation is to perform system engineering tasks such as system design, documenting interfaces and requirements and preparing and presenting technical briefings and papers. Individual is required to possess an active Top Secret SCI clearance or be eligible to obtain a clearance.
Required Qualifications: Individual must have experience developing UNIX or LINUX platforms, Cloudbase/Accumulo, JAVA programming, Hadoop HDFS and Map Reduce. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities and experience ingesting and storing data into a cloud system. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related degree and 1-3 years of Cloud related experience.
LAN/WAN Engineer (Washington, D.C. Location)
Candidate would provide support to a senior level infrastructure Technical Manager. This individual would be responsible for a suite of hardware comprised of LINUX, Oracle Enterprise Linux and Windows (Limited) operating systems. The infractructure will consist of Virtualized systems, and bare metal servers supporting a variety of projects and range from development environments to high availabilty environments. Candidate is required to possess an active Top Secret SCI clearance or be eligible to obtain a clearance.
Required Qualifications: Responsible for system administration and configuration experience in LINUX, VMWARE, and/or RHEV, and Enterprise Identiy Management tools. Experience with thin client systems accessing server based architectures and proficient use of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint. Position requires hands-on support, maintenance, performance monitoring, and optimization of 50 plus servers in a thin client environment. Additionally, must have the ability to effectively communicate and work within a multi-contractor team and with minimal supervision. Excellent commmunication skills to work with a variety of hardware and software vendors to receive quotes and resolve infractructure challenges. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related disciplines from an accredited institution plus five years of relevant experience. Applicable experience of 15 to 20 years is acceptable in lieu of degree. Experience working with DCID 6/3 or ICS 503 preferred. Desired Qualifications: Experience with constructing and configuration of data Cloud environments using Map Reduce/Hadoop and/or Government software such as Ghostmachine, Accumulo, Chef/Puppet. Experience in VM lifecycle management (snapshots), system configuration expeience with SAN's (NetApp/Panasas),system administration experience in Windows and SOLARIS, and experience preparing and presenting technical information in the form of Powerpoint briefings and white papers.
Senior Test Engineering Manager (Chelmsford, MA facility)
Manage and coordinate the activities of a test engineering organization responsible for the final test of deliverable product which includes a variety of custom digital and analog space and aerospace electronic systems such as; software reconfigurable processors, DC to DC Switch mode power converters, RF receiving systems, multi-instrument science and particle detection systems. Provide close coordination between all corporate departments and program management personnel in the conduct of day-to-day operations across all corporate programs. Maintain and control an inventory of over 500 items of sophisticated test systems and equipment. Maintain and coordinate the use of a class 100k and class 10k clean room facility used for the assembly, integration and test of sensitive space borne electronics systems. Responsible for the development of test plans and procedures. Test activities include; bench level integration and final functional tests, thermal and thermal vacuum environmental testing, random vibration and shock testing and EMI/EMC testing. Pre-requisites for this position: BSEE, BSCS or equivalent required; MS desired. Candidates must be US Citizens eligible for a Top Secret clearance with SCI access. Must have prior leadership and managerial experience and in providing oral presentations to customer subject matter expert personnel. Experience with National Instruments products and C/C++ coding desired.
